President Praises 'Shasan Aplya Dari' and 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana'

She appreciated the state's efforts in promoting financial literacy, skill development, and livelihood opportunities for women.

'Shasan Aplya Dari' Yojana

The Maharashtra government launched the 'Shasan Aplya Dari' initiative, modeled after Telangana's 'Shasan Laku Dari'. The aim of this scheme is to deliver government services and schemes to rural and remote areas of Maharashtra. Under the scheme, government officials visit villages to directly interact with residents, listen to their problems, and inform them about the benefits of government schemes.

'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana'

The 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' is an ambitious social welfare program launched by the Maharashtra government to promote the welfare and empowerment of girls and women in the state.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Residence: Permanent resident of Maharashtra

• Age: Between 18 to 60 years

• Gender: Female

• Income: Annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakhs

• Employment: No family member should be a government employee or income tax payer

• Bank Account: A bank account linked with an Aadhaar card is mandatory

These schemes are designed to address the needs of marginalized sections and improve access to government services.
