Under the scheme, government officials visit villages to directly interact with residents, listen to their problems, and inform them about the benefits of government schemes.
The 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' is an ambitious social welfare program launched by the Maharashtra government to promote the welfare and empowerment of girls and women in the state.

Income: Annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakhs
Employment: No family member should be a government employee or income tax payer
